Topic: Canon Powershot remote capture?

I bought a canon powershot A620 second hand. It's in really good condition but unfortunately came without the software disk. I am not sure how to get remote capture. My mac does not recognise the camera via firewire. I want to animmate in istopmotion and it has to be in PTP mode. How do I get it i this mode? There doesn't seem to be anything in the instructions about actually connecting the camera to a computer. I read on the the canon website that you have to turn auto power off to connect the camera. I don't know how to find this in the menu off the A620 because it is set out differently to the one mentioned. Can anyone help me?

Re: Canon Powershot remote capture?

if it didn't come with a disk then get a refund, otherwise theres one on bricktrick (google it) get the canon software but you need the drivers witch was on the disk

Re: Canon Powershot remote capture?

Not necessarily... Go onto Canon.com, search your camera, and there is a link for download for drivers.

Download CSMC from BrickTrick (Version 0.6):
http://bricktrick.de/index-e-softwaredownload.php
( The 0.7 from Haukinger is buggy!!)
The download the drivers from http://csmc.haukinger.de/en/?Download:Required_files
