I need to make a theater for my Septemberfest entry. I was planning to make the back wall have a large rectangular hole it it, covered with wax paper with a lamp behind it. Do you think this is a good idea? Any more suggestions?
I think you should build a stage, black wall behind, brown 1xsomething flat panals on the ground, and maybe real red cloth as the curtains. Red chars, with bricks between them, maybe even a balcony in the back. Two doorways on either side of the main aisle of chairs. Light pointing at the stage, spot-light style.
No, no, a MOVIE theater.

I can't, I don't have more chairs.
It looks pretty good. Just make the bricks in front of the screen not-so-see-through and it'll look a lot better. Also add some more chairs, as Noodle says below.

Make your own chairs. Take 1 2x4x1/3 brick and one 1x2x1 brick and put them together.
Wow, I have 200 chairs, red, blue, brown, pink, and I have NO idea where they came from... and if you don't have chairs, just make the figs sit down as if there was, its dark, no one will know the difference.
I already filmed the scene, it looks FINE without the chairs. They're sitting in the front row.

i have a hole bunch of chairs too! i think i got them from different lego airplane sets...
