Topic: I still need help!

I still can't make ANY brickfilms because I have nothing that works on my computer! I need a FREE program to use! I'll just list the things that don't work:

Stop Motion Animator.
Monkeyjam.
Helium Frog.
Dragon Stopmotion free trial.
Windows Movie Maker.
Stop Motion Pro free trial.

That's all I can think of that I have tryed. Please help!

Re: I still need help!

If you want other people to do the work of finding programs that will run on your computer for you, you'll need to at least post your specs and why the aforementioned programs haven't worked.

Re: I still need help!

I don't want other people to do all the work! I just want help. I'll tell you why some don't work:

In monkeyjam it freezes up when I try to convert the pictures into an AVI file.

In Stop Motion Animator it freezes up when I open the program.

Window Movie Maker pauses up if I add too many pictures.

In Stopmotion Pro it only shows a few pixels instead of the whole picture.

The rest do pretty much the same. I don't know which Windows model I have and I don't know how to find out.

Re: I still need help!

but once you export it- it will export in best quantity- so for windows movie maker- just take the picture no matter how bad it skipps while playing the movie- when you export- it'll come out fine

Re: I still need help!

Use WMM. If it freezes, render the project in parts. So for example if you have 3000 photos, make projects for every 500 or so, thats what I do, I make Part One, Part Two, etc while making a big project, then put all the parts into one WMM project and render them together as a final movie.

I´m not 100% shure on the situation whene you say "Picture".
are you able to put pictures together and make the animation?

now, if it freezes when you convert the whole clip of the animation into a video file,
how long have you then been waiting?

please correct me if i´ve done something wrong mini/smile

Re: I still need help!

Everything is fine about Monkeyjam exept for converting to an AVI file where I wait like 10 minutes and nothing happens.

Re: I still need help!

Have you tried exporting another type of movie file? A .mov, for example?

At the very least, tell us what OS you're running. 99% chance it's either XP, Vista, or 7. If you don't know how to figure that out, I'll be a little worried that your parents allow you near a computer in the first place.

Re: I still need help!

It takes a long time to save a video with monkeyjam, just have patience, and it runs down very quickly so dont do other things while saving it. and Dont forget to select the size of the video etc. or maybe u just need a new computer

Re: I still need help!

I think somthin is wrong with your computer if none of the programs you listed work

Re: I still need help!

um if you have a computer that can't play any of them then you have a !@$# computer or a virus

Re: I still need help!

It has been running slowly lately. I think I have a Windows XP, mabye. Alright, thanks for the help.
