Yesterday I spent the whole day racing- my rc short course truck. It was all done for my birthday!!!! And it was my first time actually racing my truck with others, first time using a real track, first time getting an award!
I got 8 laps in all three qualifying rounds (4th place each time- pretty good for my first time racing) and 4th place in the final race. I even got the fastest lap (out of everyone) in my second round of qualifying.
I went to a pro off-road track down in south jersey for the first time for my birthday. It was amazing! dozens of buggies flying off ramps, short course trucks (like mine) doing something similar to a demolition derby than an organized race, and gas-powered vehicles tearin up the roads and spitting out smoke like heck. Here are some pics (due to personal info, there are no pics of me below):

Might I also add that by now my iPod Nano has been in the washing machine TWICE in its lifetime, in the full cycle of super hot steaming soapy water. Twice. Did I say TWICE? Thats 2 times. AND IT SURVIVED. TWICE. Like everything works, battery, connections, headphones (which also got washed once), everything except the backlight, which means I can only see the screen during daytime, but I memorized the menu anyway.
IT WORKS!!!!!
I just found out that the badwords filter I set up in #Eclipse_Studios doesn't kick- it bans. Now, I'm banned from my own channel.

in oter news i decided i wanna post liek tis jst 1nce to c wat its liek
After inspecting my car, turns out I only bent one turnbuckle (some rod that keeps the front wheel in place). I'm really lucky to race (or more like crash and tumble and flip and jump my car) all day and leave with only a bent rod. Some other racers had broken chasises and wheels and suspensions! Beginners luck I guess.
How do you guys like the pics (above)?
