In windows movie maker how do i set the fps to 15?

Re: Windows movie maker

Go to tools, then options. Once you're at options, on the first screen you'll see something that says, "Picture Diration." Set your picture diration to 0.125, then go to effects, and put in the effect, "Speed up Double." There you're animating at 16 fps, close enough to 15 fps. Hope I helped.

Re: Windows movie maker

Might I also mention that WMM is not designed for what you are trying to do. I would recommend using a program like HeliumFrog, or Monkeyjam.

Re: Windows movie maker

Yeah just do what LSP said. But I would recommend not using WMM to capture your frames. You can go to the Free Software list to find a different editor. Also, if you can, get a web cam, I recommend Logitech's Quickcam Pro 9000 or the HD C910, or you can get a camera with a USB cable that can connect to the computer. Then try to get a frame capture program like Monkeyjam or HeliumFrog .

By the way, welcome to BiM. Have you read the Beginner's Guide To Bricks in Motion yet?

Re: Windows movie maker

you can use bafran or monkeyjam. if this 2 software not work, you can use WMM, Tools> Option> length of the photo: 0.125> at the end of your video editing (no voice, sound, special effects ...) save the video, then reopen the acceleration there until it suits you.

^ bafran is only for masking? mini/confused

Re: Windows movie maker

Don't forget to render (publish) the movie in HD if the pics are in HD. PM for how to do that

Re: Windows movie maker

I use anasazi stop motion animator to capture the footage (as you can set the fps to whatever your liking on it) and WMM for editing. Although it is basic I find the other free editing software too complex to work with.

Re: Windows movie maker

In options set to 0.125-8fps and then afterwards you go to effects and speed
up double which gets you to 16fps-near enough to 15fps-but I think you
should try Monkeyjam or Helium Frog for frame capture-then edit in wmm:)
