Does anyone here use Helium Frog to animate? I'm thinking of using it in my Septembefest entry. How easy is it to use? Can you import photo's that have been edited with GIMp into it? Please answer.
Yeah, I use Helium Frog, and I'm pretty happy with it, otherwise I wouldn't use it. It's pretty easy to use I'd say, but I think you can use the build-in video editor and import frames, although don't hold me to that, as I've never tried doing that before, although it seems possible. And if you have any questions as to how to save the animation, just exit the program and it automatically saves it as an .avi or whatever format you want.
Use Monkey Jam, its way better then Helium Frog and its simpler to use.
monkey jam has no onion skinning....
Well, when I use monkeyjam it won't let me import edited photos into it so I'm hoping Helium Frog will be better. Let's hope.
