I don't mind maths really, I just hate numbers.

Whaaaaat? Numeracy is like the easiest division of maths (I know it's not actually a division of maths per se) Maths isn't too bad if you understand what you're doing. Better than economics with reports and assignments being handed out every other bloody week.
And why do American's say math? It's mathematics. Mathematicsssssssssssssssss.

That was supposed to be a joke, considering that almost everything to do with maths involves numbers.

I have no idea how old you are, but there are mutliple areas of mathematics, reaching much further than numerical equations which all fall into quantity, change, space -aaannd I've forgotten- structure. When you talk about numeracy as a subject, that means stuff like addition, multiplication, division, subtraction, fractions, decimals - all the simple stuff you use every day.
I'm hardly the best person to explain this, but numbers don't really exist, their just a way you express things. I didn't explain that very well, just look it up or whatever.
Though yeah, I dunno how old you are, you might not have learnt that stuff at all.

I always find it funny how the bridge between Parliament and the London Eye is always clogged up because people are taking pictures of Big Ben (or whatever its real name is). There just never seems to be a shortage of people who dont have pictures of it.....
