Subscribers mean nothing, those are just 8 year olds who swear excessively and think saying the f-word in every movie 5 times or saying "Hey batman I'm gay!" is funny. His characters hardly MOVE for petes sake! They're mouths just flap open rapidly while the rest of the background is green screen and a gray baseplate.

I watched forrests new film and TBH it wasn't too bad. Actually it was much better than the average brickfilm. At places it was sort of funny (which is more than 95% of brickfilms ever accomplish). I am honestly surprised that any of his fans actually understand some of the jokes, (they all seem like 8 year olds to me). However I didn't go as far as to subscribe.
Back to the subject at hand, i dont really get excited for brickfilms. Mobiles film looks like its gonna be cool from the few minutes i've seen of it. But i'm not like sitting in my room peeing myself with excitement as its release draws ever closer.

I was checking Forrests stuff- like the link lamplight posted. the videos are okay, but the comments/subs are just WAAYYY overboard. Read the comments for the batman cape video, he puts people on batmans side, but i doubt anyone really likes those videos, they just sub becuase it makes them feel cooler.
I hate to say this but Forrest IS getting better. His animation and ideas are better than they used to be.
Same. I admit that his Hoth Hotel actually made me laugh. Because Star Wars is epic win. But still, not Forrestfire.

I think he said sometime in september.
As for FF101, if pizza really likes him, then that's what he thinks. Everybody's entitled to their own opinion. However I don't think he's ever has, or ever will be the best brickfilmer ever. That title goes to mindgame in my opinion. Subs don't mean anything either, youtube's very different to this site.
The reason I don't really like any of his stuff is because of the bad language. I don't ever like the idea of swearing in lego films, I mean it is a toy at the end of the day. Saying that, it's been a while since I last dared watch his stuff, so he may have changed since then.
Moving away from that, I think the film I am looking forward the most to is the Egypt film. Also anything from mindgame, Fancypants or Filmyguy.
What about Smeagol? He was amazing with Unrenewable, and others...

I have, but I'm not sure what to do with it these days...it's basically finished as far as writing goes but I don't know when in the foreseeable future I would have time to make this film.
Horses that Talk looks EPIC! Also mobdeli's film will truly will be an instant classic!
And about Forrest, I saw his video in the most viewed of today and that was kinda cool.
Horses That Talk (the whole series), mobildeli's LEGO Egypt film, Septemberfest entries, Reve, Unrenewable 2 & anything from FP.
Forrestfires new film isn't that great. Sure it has the best special effects of any brickfilm but the script was terrible(not to mention very predictable). Robin always gets either shot, burned or embarrassed every film. An you always know the not only the villains are going to die but usually one of batman's friends too! Maybe next time his video's could be a little less of the norm and more unexpected. That' what I think.

You're sure you know what special effects are? I'd say he has pretty poor special effects also. If you want to see awesome SFX, look at Unrenewable, Zombie: Genesis, Picturesque, Plant, and other films like those.
