As if there wasn't enough going on in the month of September around here, BrickCon (an annual national-scope LEGO convention held in Seattle) has announced that they are bringing back the BrickCon Film Festival.

I don't know how many brickfilmers we have in the area, but I'm sure Septemberfest entries would work well here.
Deadline is September 23rd.
I wish that we lived in seattle.
Does one have to live in Seattle to enter, or does one simply have to live in the United States?
I live like 4 hours away from Seattle.
Well, I live 4+ days away by car, so it's important for me to know.
I'm British so I can't enter.
According to the article, one must be present to win. However, anyone can register for BrickCon; you'll just have to find some way there.
I happened to be in Seattle last year for this. Unfortunately I didn't know there was just part of it for kids so I missed it D:
Just a last minute note about the BrickCon Film Festival.
I am the coordinator for this event, we would like to have some more films to show at the festival.
I extended the deadline till Monday September 27, 2010 and opened submissions to all brick filmmakers.
