Lennart, let me get this straight, I DO NOT LIKE FORREST WHALEYS FILMS!!!!  Actually, does anyone here, other than Pizza, like his films?

I think Forrest Whaley isn't bad, but he is repeating the stuff he did before and his animation isn't really good.

Let's take Fancypants for example. His effects are really great, and so are his camera movements. He can do all kinds of flips and his animations are really smooth.

I think that if Forrest Whaley cuts out the childish jokes and takes more time to animate, he'd make some cool stuff.

Forrest has so many fans because:

1. He often releases films because he does them quickly.
2. Has crude humor which is (unfotunately) liked by most youths these days.
3. His films are easy to understand, which is also (unfortunately) liked by most youths these days.

Let's try to steer this back on topic, mmkay?

On the matter of ForrestFire101, he's a decent animator, but by no means is he the best. While it's true he has more subbers than any other brickfilmer, that does not make him the best.

The only reason he has so many subbers is because he makes videos based off of copyrighted characters, and everyone loves seeing a LEGO Batman and Robin film or LEGO Indiana Jones film, etc. He does happen to make them, if I dare say it, half decent, which helps with getting so many subbers...but from a brickfilming stand point, he's average. You have to understand that he is only so popular because he uses a lot of popular, copyrighted, superhero characters. His originality is zero.

True Brickfilm masters, like ZachMG, Hazzat, Smeagol, nameschild, the soon to be known Mobile, etc use mostly original ideas with original characters...and of course there are many other brickfilmers out there that are better than FF101 any day on quality wise, like Fancypants, Keshen8, blobstuidos, etc.

So yeah...that's all I have to say about that.

He's animation is ok, I only have ever seen some of his films just to see if he's improved, His animation has improved recently and has made 1 decent short. Which had NO Toilet comedy. You may be jealous of his excessive fan base, but you can't stop it. Stop flaming Pizza and Forest, Pizza has he's own opinions and so do you. If you're gonna dedicate this thread as a flame war. Fine. Forest has his own style and so does everyone else.

Btw: Mobile's Egypt film and namchild's upcoming film are hyped.
