What i'm saying is that, if you look at the first page, it started off as a contest. Well, if the contest is over, how come so many people are posting random topics here? This has over 100,000 views, and 6000+ replies. If people are going to post random stuff, that's what the Cafe Corner is for.
Just wondering, because I've never seen this thread before...

How it works:
After the 24 hours are up, the judge chooses a winner and two runner-ups. The winner then has another 24 hours to post another image in this thread. There are enough 'broken record' topics around here already without adding to the list.
If the winner hasn't done so already when the time's up, the 1st runner-up chooses the next image. If the 1st runner-up hasn't posted one after the same time period, then it's passed to the other one. If, by some sheer fluke, the 2nd runner-up doesn't post an image, then it's thrown open. If the winner doesn't want to choose the next image, then they can pass it on to the 1st runner-up. The process then repeats itself.
As you can see, the rules keep this contest stuck in a loop. Until someone figures out a loophole that ends the contest, I guess we're stuck with it.
Oh, wait, so all that chit chat is taking place while everyone waits for the next contest?
If you feel that chitchatting in a Frame caption contest thread is not contributing to the thread, feel free to report their posts, but that's a lot of post to cover and a lot of effort distinguishing a offtopic post to a caption entry.
There's only chat when the person who is assigned to post a frame doesn't do t immediately. But right now, there IS a contest going on and will continue to do so.
