I'm with you, Riley. I'm hoping Labor win, because Tony Abbot is seriously... I hate him. I've always hated the Liberal Party, now that I think about it.

You know Riley, it's kinda refreshing to not hear the phrases: Republican Party, or Democratic Party, when talking politics.
I had rubber bands, braces, the Herbst appliance, all that orthodontia stuff. It's all pretty painful, (though the Herbst takes the cake) and definitely when I was young and in the middle of it it didn't seem like it was worth it. However, in retrospect, I am glad I was able to have braces, definitely worth the tradeoff considering my teeth would have been pretty crooked otherwise. I still wear my retainer every night, though I haven't had braces in four years. Kinda not fun but I've gotten used to it and if I were to stop before my 30s or so my teeth would begin to revert fairly quickly.
Smeagol, Spelling Mistake? It's a miracle! You wrote "ever night" instead of every. 
I had the option to have braces when i was younger but i decided against it as my teeth were not to bad. My mate had them and he went through loads of problems with them, and the end result was not really that much of an improvement anyway. And being European i just dont care about peoples teeth, its not something i even think about (Except when you see those people with extremely whitened teeth, cant help but be distracted). Honestly i dont understand why people go through so much effort to have perfect teeth, when the end result is usually not that different from what you had originally.
I have braces to make me look normal, not perfect.
I need them to be straight and level.

First schoolday starts Sept. 1st (<edit) MEH. New school too, so it should be more interesting than usual.

Wow, all of you start school late. I started last Monday on the 16th. And braces, they definitely don't help with football. 
But I guess it's worth it. Oh yeah, started 8t grade football yesterday. First gave September 7th. Can't wait!
I started in February.
