That was awesome Lamplight. Although my main annoyance is that the titles took up over half the film (a big no-no). Also, craters are suppose to be an indent in the ground, not stuff just appearing out of nowhere. I understand where you were coming from, because you were using a baseplate and couldn't go down, but yeah.
Also, I understand mine doesn't look anything like I was planning, but in my brilliance I left most of the pieces I needed for the crater at my cabin. Ah well, I still really like how mine turned out. ![]()
I think I may enter. I have alot of projects going on, but I think I can do a quicky. I have a funny twist in mind.
Does anyone know the deadline? I cant even find the page number that has the beginning of this contest! Were there prizes?

The deadline is in an hour or two. And nope, no prizes, except if you count getting all warm and fuzzy and happy when you win.

I said this to Rsteenoven, the titles were purposefully long, so it seems stupid, it builds hype but then it turns out it's not a big deal at all.
HOLY CRAP!!!! We haven't had a triple post in.. in... WHO KNOWS! Seriously, we people here frown upon double posts... but triple.... ![]()

The fall wasn't great. The guy just took a couple of steps into the camera and fell completely upright. It was so close we couldn't see what was happening and all his limbs were completely static, which made it completely unrealistic. That and the crater appeared on the ground, rather than in the ground.

Sorry the keying is terrible...
I made an entry, but after I masked it, it sucked.
Darn, I missed it. My idea was a random guy back-walking off a cliff, still walking while falling down throught the air as if nothing had happened, then landing on his back, making a small indent in the ground while this "water-droplet-falling-in-water" ripple effect happened in the ground. Then the guy gets up and continues walking backward.
Anyone know when/what the next challenge will be?
