The Helicopters paint job is a big clue to the movie. (Sorry I know the picture is small, but hopefully you can see it.)

Starring Jeremy Northam and Abe Vigoda as two buddy-cops on an adventure to rescue the woman Abe's character had a steamy affair with in the early 30's. But, the twist! It is really Northam's character's mother, and it turns into an emotional bonding experience for both Vigoda's character and his very well preserved 87 year old son! And there's also a twist ending where Abe Vigoda's character gets skinned by the local natives and used as a blanket by Northam's character and his mother as they engage in a strange act of passionate love.
Also known as - I have no idea. Tropic Thunder? Why would a helicopter need water-landing gear? Platoon?
