Topic: Explosion VFX Artist Needed!

I've just scripted an action scene for my summer project and unfortunately one of the things I'm really not very good at are are explosions. There are a quite a few explosions in this scene and a smoke grenade going off also, so if somebody is willing to kindly give up their time to do a few effects for me, I'd greatly appreciate it.

If you're interested, say in this thread and I'll PM you a MediaFire download link for a few clips that need explosions. I'll try hard to make it easy when I animate, and hang around because as soon as I animate I can't really edit until I have that effect. You must also provide a clip of an explosion you've done before, because I need to get what I want.

I'd really appreciate this. I could do the explosions myself but they're really not as good as some of the talents of you guys, so I'd take that option over on explosions any day.

I'll do it for you. I currently use ParticleIllusion 3.0, Adobe premier and After effects CS5.
I have a few explosion stock clips, but I can do it in ParticleIllusion if you'd prefer that.
Just send me the link, and I'll do it when I get a chance.

Great. Do you have any previous work you can show me? If not, I guess I can let you have a go. In the credits of the film I'd rather have down your full name. If you wouldn't mind telling me that, it would be great. However, if you want to just go down as ZP that's fine.

I could do it, I use Adobe Premiere Elements 7.0, and I do a fine job with Explosion effects. Can I be on the PM list?

Sure, all of you are on the PM list. Anyone who posts in this thread offering to do it is on the list. I'm surprised to find so many people willing to help. I'm animating tonight and tomorrow. That means I'll be animating the explosion clips either tomorrow or Sunday. You all need the explosions done within about 2 days.

Unfortunately, only one of you can do the job, and you will need to hang around after, because I'm sure more VFX requests will come up.

Hey, I'm open for a bit of effects work right now. I use After Effects CS4 and Sony Vegas and I'm experienceded in SV and AE.
