Uh, you can't really sign up for director. And you know this is CGI animation, like what you would do in Blender or Carrara, right? I've never heard of you saying you used a 3D program before.

And Mutuceba, there's a link on the first page to the forum, and it's going to be all CGI.

Well BG, most of the people here probably haven't used a 3D program for animation before.

After my rig is completely done, I will create a video showing how to animate it. I really don't think that Blender's animation system is too complex; I could probably condense it all into a 10-15 minute video.

What makes you qualified?

We already have directors.  What makes you more qualified to direct than the two we have, who have been educated in film or have years of experience animating and producing their own films?

And again, don't sign up just for the sake of signing up.  If none of the areas of expertise you are skilled at, then it's not necessary for you to sign up.  We can't hire a hairstylist to program the robotic arms on the space station.

What is your strength?  Is it a strength we're looking for in our project?  If so, welcome aboard.  Don't let us down.  If not, thank you for your interest, here's a bumper sticker.  We appreciate your interest but you're just not what we're looking for.

Yes please BG. As far as I'm aware, Littlebrick is still trying to fix up his Blender rig, so for the time being mine appears to be the only one that's fully functional.

Makes sense.  Build the models, then pass it to the painters to color it.

I could use some more character and story developers as 3-4 people doesn't seem sufficient in flushing out the details in our story and character background.
