Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Spider-Man 3

My first time seeing it. I really enjoyed it. I thought all the action was really well done and the story really worked. I was disappointed by Venom though. I mean, Venom should be this badass, really scary monstrous version of Spider-Man that isn't afraid to tear you to pieces. Instead, they made Eric Brock shine through as the person he is, and he made Venom so disappointingly poor. He should have a had a creepy voice, a violent way of coming for you, determined to destroy Spider-Man, but instead it's a guy with sticky black stuff with the voice of Eric Brock who only does anything in the final battle.

Sandman wasn't too bad though. They certainly pulled his background off well and did a great job on the visuals. I really enjoyed this film.

A must see movie, honestly. All schools should make the time to show this as part of History.

All About Steve

Loved every second of it.

Superman IV

Man... this had me cringing at every turn, don't get me wrong, it's just that there was so many plot failures, and bad chroma keying, and wires in the shot that they should've masked. It just made me laugh out loud at how bad it was... sheesh... but it was entertaining for the most of it, besides the obvious flaws. Plus the gold painted nails for the bad guy was epic fail.

The White Ribbon

Blew me away. Absolutely astounding film, very-thought provoking and quite deeply disturbing. The cinematography is gorgeous, but it works in a very subtle, almost subliminal fashion. One of the best from 2009.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Invictus
Well the day before i saw the bourne ultimatum and loved it, Invictus although historically correct in most aspects was disapointing
I never knew when the climax arrived and i thought Mat Damon didn't fit the part as a team inspiring rugby orieneted man
overall i thought it was okay but a bit slow for the movies plot

Dan in Real Life
I was surprised by the way its comedy took a backseat to its familial poignancy. Though it's not perfect, the characters are easy to connect and empathize with. The understated soundtrack was also a high point.

The Lady Vanishes
Although I tend to enjoy Hitchcock's films, this one left me nonplussed. It did have a nice sense of paranoia at times, but the story was flat and unbelievable.

Clint Eastwood is AWESOME in bringing the dialogue, and the action and violence is great from beginning to end, no P***y censored s**t, just pure badeAssnes with some balls.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I feel like Inception gets the audience involved with its own complexity and little else. Ultimately, it's rather shallow.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I find Inception only flaw in giving an emotion to the audience in the end for Dom, wasn't everybody just like: WATHEHELL.... ok...

because the grandmother wouldn't allow it because she doesn't like Dom? Maybe because of the reason for him being suspect of her daughters death? It isn't explained but it seems a good theory
