Topic: Mercenary brickfilm contest!!! (Prizes are here!!!!) CONTEST IS ON!

Hi everyone,

To start I'm new to the contest playing field so any suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated. So anyways this contest is sponsored by brickarms a company that makes real weapons at Lego scale. They are made of 100% ABS plastic and fit well in any Lego collection.

Theme: Mecenaries/huge fight scenes

Starting date:
November 1, 2010

Deadline:
Febuary 5, 2011

Rules:
1. no sexual themes or excessive swearing
2. films must contain something about mercenaries or fight scenes
3. films must be at least a minute long
4. films must be made using mostly stop-motion animation
5. films must contain Lego or other related toys
6. films must contain some brickarms or some weapons.
7. Have Fun!

What exactly are the prizes? Just saying:

isn't going to cut it. Also, is this contest sponsored by Brickarms, or are you just giving away brickarms prizes? I had a quick look around the Brickarms Forum and found nothing about this. Also, using the theme: THE EXPENDABLES, is not something a business such as Brickarms would do, the name of that movie is protected by law if I'm not mistaken.

I kinda like the idea of getting a load of Brickarms, but I don't understand the theme. As I haven't, and won't, see the movie, it makes it kinda hard for me to understand. I agree with JAM.

Okay I was a little tired yesterday so I've come back with a few more reasonable explanations. First of all this contest is 100% sponsored by brickarms so that means there will likely be some cool looking weapons for you guys. Second the theme is now mercenaries in celebration of the Expendables.

It is not unusual for Brickarms to sponsor small contests that incorporate their products. Most of these contests tend to be traditional LEGO building challenges rather than animation, hence the confusion here.
