The war has been won.
For the first time since its creation, there is no fighting in the War Room.
Because it's fun to troll religious 10-year-olds.
But Hazzat, what were you and the site staff expspecting by creating the warroom? That we discuss on serious topics? Seriously, the most people on the site are under 16 years old. So, what do you exspect? The war room is no bad place for me, it´s interesting to hear opinions from other people. That´s all.
The War Room was ultimately a place to get the things we didn't want on the main site out of the public eye without constantly having to moderate. We never expected that people would handle it maturely- sure, we had hoped, but it wasn't expected. In the end, the War Room started seeping into the rest of the site though. People began holding grudges, and it just wasn't doing its job anymore; on the contrary, it was creating more problems than it stored. So now, as opposed to having a forum for shouting matches and unsupported opinions, we're just going be deleting that stuff when it arises, in line with what we proposed after the closing of the Coffee Shop.

Once upon a time there was a brickfilming website with forums. On those forums was a hidden subforum with limited access. In there, mature people discussed mature subjects in a mature manner. But with the advancement of technology using the internet, webcams and brickfilming software became easier, and the age and maturity of the average internet user (and average brickfilmer) dropped drastically. Times change, and people change, and what worked at one point in time can degrade into bad ideas at another point in time.
But don't worry, we'll live happily ever after.

.......fo SHAME
But anyway, I don't miss the War Room, it wasn't a bunch of people maturely discussing (not religious) topics, it was just one group of people constantly slamming another group of younger people.

It was contributing nothing to the site - only flaring up unnecessary arguments. And why would you want to discuss the existence of God with a bunch of LEGO movie makers?
When you put it that way i makes me think, but then i remember...

There was some interesting junk in the War Room. But it was mostly "YOU CAN GO WITH THIS OR YOU CAN GO WITH THAT"-type trash. I'm happy we put it out of its misery.
