Topic: System Shutdown

Any advice on how to wipe out the hardrive but NOT break the computor. my dad set a security password, then forgot it. and now i cant reset the computor, so i need to totally wipeout the hardrive any advice?

Assuming you're referring to windows here, simply boot the PC whilst the install disc is in the drive. It should give you the option to reinstall the OS from scratch.

well im taking it in to best buy today anyways to see if they can fix it
