Topic: Magix Editing/Exporting

Well, I started editing with my new Magix Movie Edit Pro 16 Plus today, and I exported so I could see what it looks like so far, but the movie comes out a lot choppier than the animation I put into it. I exported at the resolution of the clips (1280x720), set the frame rate to 15fps, and set the aspect ratio accordingly. Also, I used scene recognition to remove part of the clip, and then brought some other animation in. But instead of that coming up, it stops where the scene that I took out would begin. I am relatively new to these more advanced movie editors. Please help me! mini/eek

Re: Magix Editing/Exporting

Sounds like a playback problem because of a lack of compression. Huge uncompressed files usually play back very choppily, because, well, they're huge and media player don't load enough memory to play the file back properly. Try recompressing the footage using VirtualDub or SUPER© (I usually recompress my animation in SUPER using XviD compression at 9600kbps) and watching the recompressed footage instead.

SUPER is what I recommend too. Works like a charm.

Re: Magix Editing/Exporting

I recommend MPEG Stream Clip because of the H.264  codec.
