Topic: Light flickers problem

Hello, I have a webcam Logitech webcam C300 (http://www.logitech.com/es-es/webcam-co … vices/5863) and I use the capture frame software iStopMotion. This camera has automatic focus settings and it produces flicker. I know I would have to buy another webcam with manual settings such as the QuickCam Pro 9000. But for now, is there any way to reduce light flickings with any program (not VirtualDub), or using a technique I don't know? Thanks.

No idea. All I say is: NEVER! EVER! GET! A! CAM! WITH! AUTO FOCUS!!! Because it is auto which means it allows to create light flicker. So yeah..

Re: Light flickers problem

First off, auto focus does not create light flicker. Here are some tips for controlling light:

  • Make sure all windows are covered to prevent natural light from coming in

  • Make sure all possible manual setting for your camera are OFF. This prevents the coftware from adjusting something because your hand came in the shot, etc.
