Topic: Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac

Alright, I've come across this - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AO … mp;seller= - and need some advise. How's it like for Brickfilming? Can anyone show me any films shot with it? I need to know if it's any good is all. Many thanks!

I don't think it has manual focus, if so, it's useless for brickfilming.

Well, if you get bootcamp on your mac, you can use a PC version of the 9K. You can take the pictures on the Pc side of your mac and edit it on the mac side. This is the way LittleBrick and Nxt use their 9K's on their macs.

hehe well, I never found a Windows Install disc, so I couldn't use BootCamp. Now I just use both computers, the PC takes the pictures, and the Mac edits.

Buy an old one. Windows 2000 should be cheap enough now. mini/tongue

Thefourmonkeys are pretty experienced when it comes to camera's.  They said it has the same image quality as it's PC counterpart but doesn't have manual controls.  My advice, get a PC.  But keep your MAC, it's great for transferring and editing.

Re: Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac

No, terrible advice for small budget. I suggest an A/V to USB convertor to use with your current camera, it will come aroun the same price and will get higher quality. Dont get the easycap one though. It has only 640x480 quality as I use it. Pinnacle has a few nice ones and you can just look up "A/V to USB converter" on google.

Thanks for all your help guys! I actually have an old PC Laptop that I'll use for the Logitech. And if that fails then I'll just do the bootcamp thing with Windows. mini/smile

Just transfer the movie files from Memory stick to your mac.
