I feel like a complete and utter moron. I've been animating this film for the past three days, and it's been taking me forever to animate, partially because I've got really long lines, and partially because I'm using the Quickcam Pro 9000 on my laptop for the first time, and weird stuff's been happening (the zoom disappeared, for instance).
Now tonight, I rendered some of the footage, and when I put it alongside the line, it didn't match up! I stared at the paper on which I'd mapped out certain movements, and I stared at the audio of the line itself in Papagayo, until I felt like I was going mad. Finally, I realized that when installing Papagayo for the first time on my laptop, I failed to change it from displaying in '24 fps' to '15 fps', thus, I have apparently been secretly shooting a 24 fps film the whole bloody time! I re-rendered the footage in Videomach, and this time the line matched up, of course.
The weird thing is, it really doesn't look too bad. A tad fast, yes, but considering how silly the film is, it sort of accentuates it. At any rate, it's too frigging late to stop now, because I've already taken 2,000 frames!
