I just downloaded the beta for blender 2.5 and I already have a problem
When i hold alt and left mouse click I can't do the 3d navigation like before
Has the hotkey changed or am i just crazy
Same with me. The hotkey for it was apparently changed up.
It's the middle mouse button now. Stupid laptop...

Subsurf makes it look wierd and Set smooth isn't to convincing either

Auto Smooth maybe(note: it has to be with set smooth to do anything)? Edge Split?
Yes it worked
Although Ill have to turn it off for now comp keeps chrashing
And one more thing
After I make my model what are the next following steps till a finished animated product?
I also need big big time help UV mapping my guy in blender

Texturing? Rigging?
alright gotcha but is it better to UV map a model making seems or do UV face face select
Note that i am using the beta for blender 2.53
