Use sticky puddy, blue tack, or whatever you want to call it. And put it on the characters hair. Well beneath it. That way the hair doesn't wiggle around while animating a walk cycle... or really anything.

Wait, I'm confused does that post have anything to do with walk cycles? I'm sure theres plenty of other places to post that, not make a new thread.
And can people PLEASE use spell check, I've seen so much poor and grammar (not just on this forum) that it makes me want to quit the Internet.

Sorry, I didn't realized you had posted that. 
But it can be used for walk cycles. Have you ever animated a walk cycle and had the hair move around?
True BertL. But whatever I just decided to post it, because I know whenever I animate a walk cycle it drives me crazy to see the minifigures hair constantly shifting places.
I guess my comment didn't appear but I said "It's alright"
