Topic: Brick Reflection?

When I was filming my newest movie, I used a lot of brown bricks to make a wall. I checked back in the footage and found my hand/body on the wall, and it really didn't look good. Is there anyway I could reduce brick reflection? Like putting something on the bricks or something like that.

Re: Brick Reflection?

hide behind something.

Re: Brick Reflection?

Well you could angle the shots so that the wall doesn't face right towards the camera... if that makes sense.

Re: Brick Reflection?

Use a remote control, or timer feature. Then, just slip away from the shot. This will also prevent hand weight camera move.

Re: Brick Reflection?

step 1: take brick wall off baseplate in one piece.
step 2: place wall face down on baseplate.
step 3: rub wall all over baseplate.

Your wall will now be slightly scuffed up and no longer shiny. mini/smile
