Topic: Focusing Webcams ( other than Logitech ) From The Computer

Most web cams have a focus ring on the front that focuses the camera manually. But the problem with that is, the camera is likely to move when you turn the ring. Does anybody know of any software that may allow the camera to be focused, or something I can build that stops it from moving.

Basically, how you change the focus within shots keeping the same camera position ect.

Why don't you just fix the focus before you film?

I mean, like.. If you are filming one shot right, and you cant move the camera because you haven't changed shots and you want to focus from maybe the figure at the far end of the shot to the front.. if that makes sense

Hmmm, ask some 4K users they had to deal with that.

make a lego cradle so its secured and stuck into the studs, then focusing should be still. mini/smile
