I think they are fixed focus, not manual or auto. It says they are always focused 40cm and beyond, and 40cm is way to far for brickfilms. I know that some logitech webcams have a fixed focus, such as the c500 and I think that is what c510, c310, and c270 have. The c910 has manual and auto focus.

Yeah that was kind of what I was expecting for such a cheap price. Thanks though

Well, my camera just broke, so I'm thinking of ordering the C910 or whatever it's called. Just to make certain, are you COMPLETELY] sure that the C910 has all manual features? I'm a little confused as to the contradictions between posts. mini/eh

According to the program u use for settings (i saw pictures of the manual) u can turn off auto focus and the bar under it lets you adjust the focus!

Everything I know I've said previously in the thread - as far as I'm aware, the webcams will have the same manual settings as the QCP9k.

The only date I've gotten for a release time is August.

As for mac compatibility, I wouldn't hold your breath.

And as in the most recent update in the first post in this thread, the latest confirmation received is that these WILL have the same manual controls as the QCP9k

My C910 arrived! My only complaint would be that the focus bar acts as if it had notches evenly spaced throughout, while the 9000 was smooth all the way through, allowing for a wider selection of focus.

If you're using MonkeyJam, you might be able to get around that. I'm not 100% sure about that, but I do know that MonkeyJam has a slider for focus in the camera settings, so that may not be restricted since it's different software.
