Topic: .ldr to .dxf or other 3d format
I have created ldr format models in Bricksmith on a Mac.
I've tried to import the ldr file into Blender but loads of pieces do not appear or are incorrect.
Is there a good ldr converter for MacOSX at all?

I was wondering about this tool... Tried google yet?
Google seems to throw up loads of really old PC-only solutions.
This is what you need to do: Save your model as a 3d studio (.3ds). Blender will not import .ldr files, or it will just mess up. If you don't have the option to export your model as a .3ds, then save it as .ldr, and download leocad and then import it to leocad. Leocad will allow you to export your model as a .3ds model. Open blender and go File>Import>3d studio. Find the file and it should come up properly.
LEocad won't run on MacOSX as far as I can tell.
hmm... well unless bricksmith will let you export your model as .3ds, you're going to have to find a program that will.
