Hello, when I upload my widescreen videos to youtube they take forever. I mean like a 3 second clip takes 10-15 minutes, the software I use is Virtualdub, and Mpeg-Streamclip. So basically is there a compressor I can use so it won't take that long?
YouTube's uploader has been crap with me for months. I had about 15 attempts at uploading a four minute video that was in 1080p HD yesterday and it failed so bad. I'll be trying again when I'm back from France.
vimeo takes about 30 mns.
I would recommend Quicktime X or quicktime pro as compression software.
Does Quicktime pro or x cost any money?
Quicktime pro, waste of money. MPEG Steamclip will let you compress video for free, or you could download the DIVX codec that you can use in virtual dub. Now thats compression.
