Topic: Script Feedback?

I'm working on scripting a short film I want to make. It's going to be a harry potter / star wars comedic mash-up. I think I've got some pretty funny lines in here, but some of the other parts drag a bit. Any feedback on the script would be much appreciated! The script can be viewed here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1549109/lego%20 … cript.docx (yes, i'm aware my spelling sucks. sorry about that, this is just a quick draft)

Re: Script Feedback?

Can you post a .doc file for those of us still running Office 2003?

I'll be honest, though... Harry Potter + Star Wars does not sound encouraging. Not to mention the fact that you didn't even bother to spell check it. But I'll wait until I actually see the script to pass judgment.

Re: Script Feedback?

I read it. First thing is I wouldn't make the death troopers funny... because then they're not scary.

hmm. i want to leave the punch line in there, but that's an interesting point. maybe i'll have them say it in a dry, robotic way and remove the laughter so it doesn't weaken their characters. that might make the scene funnier too. thanks for the feedback!
