Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Casablanca

I guess I don't need to say much about the superb writing and acting, other than that I liked it much more than Citizen Kane, which I thought was rather shallow (I watched both films for my drama class).

Solaris

The cinematography and editing are fantastic, but I think the story is too heavy-handed; there are times when the characters sound like they're reading out of some type of philosophical treatise. I found it to be an extremely depressing film as a whole.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

NightOwl - Solaris - I prefer Event Horizon mini/smile

Jonathan|Marrero - Donny Darko is a great film isn't it. If you tried to sit down and tell someone about it, you'd never do it justice. It is a very unique film.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Si, I hope you're talking about the 1972 version.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Nope I am talking about the recent Event Horizon mini/wink

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I mean the 1972 version of Solaris, silly.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

mini/lol

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I know I was being silly mini/smile

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Well, usually you don't, so forgive me for assuming that.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

That is why it works well when I am, no one expects the Spanish Inquisition mini/lol

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Appaloosa

Hmm... Very slow, with a basic story that didn't really accomplish anything. Sometimes I just wanted to scream at stupid Virgil for Trading his best friend for a whore.] Viggo Mortenson was really the only positive thing I can think about in this boring western.

Traitor

Now that, my friends, was a good movie. If you haven't seen it, go do so now.

The Wrestler

Everything about this film feels so real, from the acting to the wrestling scenes to the way the characters interact. It's very straightforward, but beautifully done.

I beg to differ. Since the first Bond movie he was in I've been pretty jealous of his good looks.

Well, he's not that ugly. But still, he's definitely not a "Pretty Boy". He's very manly, there isn't that much feminine qualities to him.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Saw a brilliant little indie film made in the 50's called "Little Fugitive". Could have done with a few trim-ups in the editing, but on the whole a great film. (4/5)

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Scream 2

I enjoyed watching it but it was a bad movie
horribly written, And just suddenly in the middle of the movie it kinde feel they went really offtopic :S , this guys just starting singing and everybody was applauding it :S
The ending was terrible, and what I mean by terribe is: not schocking, not caring who f*cking done it and it was half predictable who did it.

See this movie One time and never again.

Scream 3

Same as Scream 2, horribly written and a very disapointing ending.
it was just a guy nobody gave a f*ck about. (and with nobody giving a f*ck about em, I mean the audience that didn't care)

So just see the movie 1 time and never see it again.

although you really gotta see Scream 1, that one is really good.

The Mist

Wauw... REALLY good film

altough there were some annoing characters in the beginning but they luckaly dissapeared later

I recommend this film for everybody.
