I don't know why everyone thinks you can do all of these things just with free software. You're not going to find free software that can do that.
To add to what Yoder said. Monkeyjam few limited features, WMM also limited features and not much can actually be done, Gimp is great free software but more could be added. Now look at software that costs money; Final Cut Pro is amazing editing software and used by professionals, Logic Studio has some great effects pedals and amp simulators and all around powerful programs, and Photoshop has a bit more features and more powerful than Gimp.
Sure you can find pretty good free software, but if you want to have powerful and accurate software your going to have to spend some money. So stat saving up!
Btw, I think Final Cut Pro (not sure about Express) has motion tracking, granted Pro costs about $800USD.
I'm guessing that Sony Vegas or Premiere Elements Pro can do these fancy things, but they are not free. Even though, they are the cheapest available...
I don't know about Sony Vegas Pro, but Sony Movie Studio 9 can't.
Or ask/pay someone to do it for you.
Good software is almost never free.
Well there is a whole lot of good free software out there...
Do I need to list some? ![]()
thanks guys.
Yeah, that's true that besides stuff like Blender 2.5 and GIMP, good free software is rare.
I got the after effects trial and used it for the explosion in backwards bazooka (http://www.bricksinmotion.com/films/view/1117/).
