Topic: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde Trailer Contest [CLOSED]
That's right, folks!
The Avant-Garde contest deadline is nearly upon us...it's time for the trailer contest.
The deadline for this contest will be July 16, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. UTC.
Trailers submitted must be no longer than 3 and a half minutes, as per the typical upper limit of real trailers. You would do well to consider making your trailer much shorter than that, of course.
Though teaser trailers are allowed, some actual footage must be present in the trailer -- no entries consisting entirely of text and music, please.
The same content restrictions as in the main Avant-Garde contest apply.
You may not submit a trailer you have already posted publicly.
Your trailer must correspond to an entry to the 2010 Avant-Garde contest itself. If you submit a trailer but do not submit a corresponding contest entry, your trailer will be disqualified from competition.
To submit your trailer, send a private forum message to Trailer Contest with a link to the film.
In your PM include the film's title, your name (or online username), and a link to the film.
Entries can be hosted just about anywhere, YouTube is acceptable.
Entries can be submitted any time beginning July 10. This will allow you to publicly upload your trailer entry to a site like YouTube if necessary.
After a period of user voting, the winning trailer will be announced shortly after the Avant-Garde main contest deadline, to allow for disqualification of entries that did not have a corresponding film.
The winner will receive a BiM T-Shirt of his or her choice in color and size (based on availability).
Good luck, and remember to think outside the b(l)ox!
