I was accidentally stabbed with a mechanical pencil today at school. I had to pull the led out of my skin. Wasn't serious, just a little blood.

Apparently pencil led actually can't do you any damage. You all probably knew that already, I'm just saying. I got a cut from the girl who sits beside me in maths (she's always drawing on me on touching me somehow...) and my friend told me he had read that in a book and I was fine. You'll be telling your grandchildren this exciting story.
It's... not Lead. It's Graphite.
It's been common knowledge that lead pencils aren't actually made of lead for like 100+ years. It originated like 500 years ago when huge deposits of carbon graphite were found somewhere in Asia and everyone thought it was lead becuase it looked like it, or something like that.
Edit: I just headed over to pencils.com, it was discovered in Borrowdale, England in the 16th century. No idea where I got the asian thing from.

It's not my main thing, but I enjoy it.
Dude, you guys are so stupid. Graphite in pencils?! That's just what the government wants you to think.
Splash, go to the doctor immediately. It's a widely known fact in the more intellectual circles that pencil companies have been lacing pencils with RATTLESNAKE VENOM for DECADES in an attempt by OUR GOVERNMENT to kill off the more uncoordinated members of our society. Hundreds if not thousands have fallen to this corporate scheme. Don't let the man screw you over.

Anyway, I just got a box full of various press-packs for films like 'Batman Returns' and 'Ed Wood', plus a load of posters (mostly for French films and classics such as 'Citizen Kane' and 'Cassablanca'). Its not much, but it was free from this website that gives stuff for free.

Most of the stuff is just junk that people cant sell on eBay, but sometimes you DO get some cool stuff from people who dont want to go through all the trouble of selling it. Kind of stupid - considering if you sold each press pack and set of posters separately you could get something from it. But I dont plan to sell it.....just one whiff of that old antique smell makes me want to keep hold of it like a pensioner to their bank account.

Mostly small sunfishes and lasers. My family owns an Oslo Jolly, a Norwegian sailboat, and we sail it in Narraganset Bay.
