Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I see you will need a backdrop behind the window.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I have a backdrop. Any thoughts about the actual set?

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Well, I think it looks great! The only thing is that the control panels are kind of mixed up in color, try sticking to one general color scheme for the controls. Plus at the moment it doesn't look like you have a very big option of camera angles. mini/wink

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

The set is quite cool, but we would suggest making the walls a bit higher and perhaps longer.  Both the controls and figs look great though.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

BG: Well, actually, I got plenty of angles. They all looked great. I'm pretty happy.
BuilderBrothers: The set doesn't actually need widened. Maybe i'd consider it if I had enough bricks but it's really not necessary. I'll need to make myself a backdrop later.

A car I might use in 'Home for Supper', it is modeled after a 'Dodge 1970 Challenger', but I added the two triangles in the back.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Very squarish, and it looks as if you've taken the LEGO City police car and made it red...but more squarish. I think there's a lot more you could do with it to change it around. I like the front bumpers that are beneath the rail-thingy plate. Keep that.

Anyways, your design was really nice. I like it alot. The lens is just... erm, not attractive.

Real brick, I am amazed. I think I almost died when I saw it.
Kinzcove, there's a huge resemblance to this set. Just more square.
Not original at all, IMO.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

projector is awesome. just the lens yeah.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Sorry Kinzcove, I'll look next time.

Your car was a bit poor considering is was basically a boxy version of the sports car, but it was animatable, I will say that.

I modified my lens and got this.

I don't think you need to apologize, Real Brick.

Persist.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Possibly.  It was built mainly to test building a bridge and building a medieval house.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

It is okay. The bridge is really nice though. mini/smile
