No, there is no problem with using clay in your brickfilms. (unless it is a kind of clay that dries up)
Well the clay i've got is play dough. Is that bad?
Yes. It dries very quickly. Don't use play dough, but clay that doesn't dry out is fine. Try silly putty, I use that stuff like crazy in films.
I use plasticine in my films when I need to stick things on. Also useful for making clay figures in brickfilms for things you can't make out of LEGO, like the Boyle brothers do.

What was the point of this thread if you were going to ignore the advice given? 
I don't think it's bad look at Jason Boyle's brickfilms, he uses clay in all of 'em (well almost...)
Plastercine is an extremely good animating material I'd give that a go but you should experiment with play-dough
Blutack Is good. I use it in practically all my films.

not at all i use playdoh and it works fine hasnt dried out yet either and iv had it for at least a month now
