Thank you for clearing that up. And actually it is called football in every country except the USA and possibly Mexico, i think. So football is going to be the most common name for it.
Any way I agree football would be a challenging theme but I can't say that it would be interesting to everyone. Perhaps make the theme 'ball game' meaning that someone could do cricket, netball, rugby, golf, football, or table tennis and so on. I think that this would generate more interesting ideas and involve many different techniques.

Australia too.
Don't forget Canada.

I thought you had Australian rules football and then just called our football, football.
Don't forget Canada.
Well that's not surprising seeming as they border the worlds largest source of spelling mistakes and made up words.
Anyway the point is that its called football and not soccer in most of the english speaking world.

Hey TDogg,
I'm like the only person here that live's in the U.S. (Other than like a couple of peoples here that I know of.)
Why you gotta go hatin on us?
Us American's, did kinda come from the British......
And you Brit's, call Diapers, Nappies!?!?!?! (I always thought that was funny...)
Plus I would like to poll everybody to see what they want to do.

I think you may have got the wrong impression. I was not hating i was just saying that its not just called football in the UK but is in most of the world.

It was just a joke no need to get so defensive Real Brick. You clearly don't share my sense of humour.
I shall translate it for you so you can better understand my point,

Now lets not speak about this anymore.
Anyway I still think the theme should be 'Ball game'.
And I believe the majority of the world calls it "Soccer".
Who cares what it's called?
Anyway, when talking to people of other nationalities, it's easier just to refer to it as soccer, since there is only one soccer, whereas there are like ten different football codes.
And I believe the majority of the world calls it "Soccer".
'Soccer is a colloquial abbreviation of association football. It is also the common name for the sport in Ireland, Canada, USA, South Africa, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Zimbabwe.' from wikipedia. It never lies. Now that's sorted, let's move on...
