I think you need to add more pieces to the ground so it doesn't look so flat.

I haven't made a true MOC in nearly 2 years. I never bothered to because my digital camera broke, and people don't care for my creations when they're taken with my webcam. It's like, you could build the most amazing MOC ever, and you take pictures of it with a bad camera, and nobody notices it. It's discrimination. 
So here is a sci-fi cannon or turret of some kind.

Not really... It's pretty delicate. 
It broke on me several times while setting it up.
I think it could use a stabler design but other than that it would be pretty good I think I might work on making one of those.

Well I tried to find some pieces to make one and wound up with this..........

The Minifig will appear alot in some of my films wether or not it's a Cameo or just being one of the Characters......
Cool Swizitanee, but the turret looks a bit delicate and bare, and the gun itself is a bit long and narrow.
Here is a hover car that we made. It is one of our most successful attempts at SNOT.

We are not sure that this will be in a animation of ours, but if we ever make a sci-fi one, this will probably be at least somewhere in it.
