Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Billy Madison

A true cinema classic.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Living in Oblivion

A bizarrely funny film about the making of a no-budget film, with Steve Buscemi (yay!) and Catherine Keener.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Scream

Wauw.... just brilliant. I loved that the janitor had the same sweater as Freddy krueger.

overall one of the best horror movies I've seen in a while. although I hate that Scary Movie already spoiled the plot for me mini/confused.

See it, it's a screamer mini/wink

The Spirit

Utterly awesome!
I'm kinda obsessed with the effects of Sin City and this film I dare say was better than Sin City so, yeah.
Love it mini/bigsmile

He said "This is Sparta," and it all went downhill from there.

Too right, though I think you meant to say "down cliff".

Anyway, I watched WALL-E again last night, and I still love it. Since there's no dialogue for the first 30 minutes or so, it's easier to sit back and enjoy the awesome visuals, which I think are the best in any Pixar film, and have inspired me to work better on my cinematography.

Lol Nice Pic

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Annie Hall

Hilarious, unconventional, and very well-made.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Hope and Glory

Eh. It was alright. The ending was a bit abrupt, and overall the movie left me with no realization or happy feeling like I thought it would.

Still nice, I suppose.

"actuallly this involves spiderman too, not batman. but im also taking a new approach, more comedy, less action. i dont see to many movies like that with more comedy than action" --SteveStarfyTV on an Indiana Jones meets Star Wars idea.

Freedom Writers

Very nice, uplifting in spirit. They should have gotten a more realistic actor for the teacher, though.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Last night I watched The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, and finished up Paranoid Park (I don't know how I ended up liking the film, but I did. Gus Van Sant has a way with creating a mood / atmosphere)

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Donnie Darko

Wow, this movie was amazing. mini/eek
Just the whole atmosphere of this movie made me intrigued by it even more, this is definitely going on my top 10 best movies of all time list.

9/10

Defiance

Way better than I expected.  I didn't think prettyboy Daniel Craig could pull off a Jew, but he did really well.  There were actually moments where I laughed out loud.  The ending just seemed to Hollywood for me.  I would definitely reccomend.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I like Mondays,  I don't really have anything to do. So today I watched the original Star Wars trilogy (yup, all three) and for the first time ever I turned on the audio commentary.

Thoughts about this particular commentary:
-I really wished they had gotten more actors besides just Carrie Fisher to talk about the movies.
-George Lucas is full of himself...
-Ben Burtt is awesome (I didn't know he cameoed in 'Jedi' as an imperial officer)
-George Lucas thinks that his over use of CGI in the prequels was done well and if he could do anything different about most of the OT he'd make 90 percent of it CGI (including the ewoks)
-George Lucas has no imagination (he claims that he "shot just every location on earth" and therefore 'had' to use fake environments in the prequels cause there was nothing else he could use).

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Watched Yo-Yo Girl Cop, which was...yeah. At least it only cost $2 mini/smile

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Mongol
IMO, this film didn't really demonstrate how much of a great war strategist Genghis Khan was.

2001: A Space Odyssey
I completely lost track of the film somewhere after [Spoliers] Dave disabled HAL. The Star Gate sequence seemed to drag on a lot longer then it should have.] It felt very slowly paced, which didn't help since I was tired when I watched it.

Role Models
Hahahahahaha, that was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. I'm, glad I saw it rather then Underworld.

EDIT: I figured out the white text. I was spelling "colour" the proper way mini/tongue
