Topic: Lens flare stock footage?
Hello peeps,
Does any one know where to get free/cheap lens flare programs or stock footage apart from Andrew Kramer's software?
Thanks,

I could render you some lens flares in AE. Or do you mean coloured ones?

That would be great Dog! ![]()
Would render a orangy/blue, white, and bluey/navy one be a problem?
Thanks again!
Sorry. I thought you meant just a lens flare. I think you're referring to an optical flare if you mean coloured ones, which I'm afraid I can't help you with. I tried once for myself and it didn't turn out to good, sorry.

Mate, there's ways to make home made lense flares. I believe me newest LOGO on Youtube actually used two of my own-made lens flares. They're not too hard, mate. Just Youtube some tutorials, that should help!
If you have After Effects, I wrote a couple of expressaions that create lens flares if you have each of the parts saved as image files. Or i could do it for you. Or you could do it yourself frame by frame with Gimp.
Either way, Id be happy to help!
