If you want to improve in anything, be it brickfilming, running competitions, painting, acting, designing, horticulture, you have to be prepared to take some constructive criticism.

The community here is generally up for a good animation challenge but imposing such strict rules on a contest where the prize is negligible isn't a fantastic way to entice people to enter. $10 is a pretty small amount and limiting the use of that $10 by making it an iTunes card when not everyone uses iTunes only further closes off your contest to participants.

Cash, equipment or Lego sets are far better prizes for a brickfilming contest.

I agree the topic title is misleading.

@legostudiosplus You don't have to give a good prize or even a prize at all, but can you not say its a good prize when its clearly not. Also the rules are rather unclear about whether we have to make a battle or just base the film during a war. And you never got back to me on whether I could do a film that was after Vietnam but is still historical, e.g The Falklands war or Sierra Leone.

I only have VIM and KC joining . I hope they make good entries.
