Re: The Video Game Discussion Topic!
As far as I know.
It got good reviews, but thats nothing compared to actually playing it.

I have a Wii but I think it's dying because of it's lack of good games. There will be Super Mario Galaxy 2 soon I just hope there will be a good streak of games instead of Nintendo making every penny from "last you 5 hours of game-play" for the same price as The Best games on the console.
I agree with Splash on "You have to know which games are great for game-play and enjoyment"

I think expanding my point was a better idea. Red Steel 2 looks like something I'd get if I wasn't such a hobo. Seriously, I need a job or something. I suppose I could use some of the £130 from my bank account. It kind of makes me feel bad though.
By the way, if you're Wii games are running dry of entertainment and you don't have a friend to 2 player with, I recommend getting your GameCube games on. The Tony Hawk's games are great.
I have my sister I just bored of the same games over and over I just want a good new game which lives to the standard of brawl.

I am officially on a game development team. We are going to make, at least try to, the most competitive console game possible. It would have a high skill gap, and all that. Can't wait, I'm a graphic designer. I'll end up designing things such as the menus, and HUD's.
I just beat Red Dead Redemption. Amazing game. Kind of a downer ending; very different than most video games. I love how the game is all cinematic, like it plays as a movie at times. If you have no plans on getting the game, you really just need to look up the ending on YouTube. Really intense.
ARRRRG! Sonic 4: Episode 1 was postponed 'till the end of the year! ![]()

Pokémon Black and White gameplay videos!
They're taking a completely different approach with these games with a fully 3D world, rather than the 2D world with 3D bits in the current games.
Red Dead is so much fun, though I had been hoping it'd be a little sillier, it seems to take itself super seriously.
When I first started, I expected I'd be able to just to waltz into a bar, start a fight, walk out with someone hog-tied over my shoulder and just walk to the local train station and plonk them on the tracks and watch a train smash through them. But when the auto-aim feature accidentally locks onto the wrong person the bloody lawmen start hunting you down.
Kind of a downer ending...
Somehow, I'm not really surprised.
Has anyone else who has played the first red dead noticed the Annie Stokes clone?

What?
Anyone happen to watch a silent movie in Red Dead? Funny stuff, especially the one opposing women's right to vote.

I've been playing InFamous a lot lately since my friend let me borrow it. The mission where you have to protect Alden in the prison took me forever today. I must have tried the last part of it (where you have the 4 infinite electricity pads and there's 3 of those huge stone-and-fire-mix conduits) at least 50 times. By some stroke of luck I managed to kill the last two out of the three at the same time. Fun game, but it can get REALLY intense.
Trauma Team is depressingly short. Not much of a game really
Got ModNation Racers yesterday. It's immense amounts of fun, probably my favourite kart racer after Diddy Kong Racing.
Can't wait for gameplay of Super Mario Galaxy 2 from This Guy. It will fill my urge until the game comes to Europe.

I'm playing Settlers 7 right now. DAMN that's great game! ![]()
