Topic: New, Smaller Quickcam 9000 Cradle
I've always hated that big chunky black thing on the back of the 9000, so I removed it. Unfortunately, all the current Quickcam 9000 cradles used that thing, so I had to go and make my own. I've had this thing sitting around for a while now; I've just been too lazy to upload it. It uses a few Technic pieces, but they're all pretty easy to come by, and as stated above, it requires that you don't have the big black thing on the back. If you need to remove it, here's a walkthrough; make sure you stop after step four, because that guy is taking apart the whole camera. Those metal things in the back slide right out once they're free of the "bracket," so make sure you take those out, as they'll get in the way.
I didn't make instructions for this thing, but it should be pretty easy to figure out how to put together. Each image is a link to a bigger version.
If you look carefully here, you can see that the small gap between the two washers up near the top (or whatever you want to call those things) covers lip on the camera. This is intentional.
And here's a link to the whole set on my Flickr.
