Topic: Car into water?

I have dilema for one of my scenes where a car crashes into lake. I want to do a scene from underwater of it crashing? Any ideas of how to pull it off? I don't have an underwater camera.

Re: Car into water?

They sell water proof bags for camera's for about $12 If you are planing of filming it with real water.

Re: Car into water?

Hmmm I really don't want to put my camera in the water.
Also as another thing how would i animate the car plunging in?
And yes i'm using reall water.

Re: Car into water?

Live video? Otherwise there is clear wrap which you can use instead of water, looks really nifty mini/wink

Re: Car into water?

Maybe, attach a weight to it, use a clear glass or plastic container and press the camera lens up against it and roll the car in

Re: Car into water?

I would probably do something like what MrBrickStudios said

Re: Car into water?

Put you're camera below a glass aquarium and just drop the car in the water.

Re: Car into water?

Like Xpictures said put the camera below the aquarium drop the car in the water cut when the car is
about to float up again and then do that clip in slow motion that could look really cool! mini/bigsmile

Just a noob.
