Topic: Which film are you looking forward to in the next few years?

So IMDb can give us some great news about the films coming up in the next few years, from now (2009) to 2011 or even 2012. Which film are you guys DEFIANTLY gonna see? Here's my list:

-Foundation (2011): you gotta love Isaac Asimov. I just hope this film (of the most epic (but not best) sci-fi books ever) is better than that crap Nightfall one. That made me cry, how bad it was.

-The Amulet of Samarkand (2011): Loved the book, hope the film's as good.

-2012 (2009): Roland Emmerich rocks. Hell yeah. Like the music too.

-Tintin (2011/12): Strangely enough, the latest Spielberg movie. Could be kinda weird, but I'm just happy Spielberg's back.

Tree of Life (2009) - Terrence Malick is one of the greatest and most unique living directors, and his sparse output (he's only made four feature films since 1973) means that anything of his is really worth looking forward to.

Where the Wild Things Are (2009) - I really want to see how Spike Jonze brings the fantastic source material to the screen. From what I've seen, the film looks really interesting, unlike the standard bland fantasy.

On the Road (????) - I love the book, and I think a good film adaptation could really do it justice.

The Hobbit (2011/2012) - Hopefully this will live up to the standard of the trilogy. Guillermo Del Toro certainly sounds like a good choice.

I like the books, it'll be interesting to see how they approach the movies, which have been in 'development hell' for the last several years.  Unfortunately it looks like Roland Emmerich is involved, he doesn't seem very suited to this kind of material from his past work.  Hopefully it won't be dumbed down into a bland sci-fi action movie.

Why is it you like the thread that the general public hates, and vice versa?

Why? Cars was enough. Its time Lightning McQueen came in for a Pit-Stop.
