and Hazzat, your subscriber count is almost directly related to your views, which means you will get into the partner program that much quicker.

Am I the only one who doesn't give a monkeys about views, subscribers or that ruddy partner programme?
The simple fact is that having loads of views doesn't mean the video is good, just that a lot of people have seen it. If you want loads of views just post a video of a cat standing on two feet or a fat guy falling over. By making a good brick film like 'unrenewable' or 'The River' you are showing talent and it doesn't matter if its popular or not.
You can switch it you know. There's a place under the "account" thingy where you can change the email settings.
@chuppa I mean "you" as in anyone. Not Hazzat. If I say "as your view count goes up, so does your chance of being a partner" I'm referring to the general pattern, and not your view count particularly.
Darkman, isn't there an option to have all emails forawrded to another address, I do that with my yahoo email for flickr and stuff.
Just reached 3,000 + Views, and 130 Subscribers in just over a month. Here are my current statistics (Strange that the ones on your page are slightly smaller then the ones on your account):

Video Views: 3,313
Favorites: 60
Channel Type: Guru
Channel Views: 2,901
Subscribers: 128

The views are different from the account because you have probably deleted a video.
I checked that earlier and:
Your Google Account's primary email address is a Google Mail address and thus can't currently be changed.
Simple answer: Unlink your YouTube and Google accounts. I had the same problem.
Yeah so much better than him making a new email or something.
