If you have a ps3, I'd reccomend Little Big Planet, it's gotten really cheap lately. I saw it for AU$25 preowned, though it's probably avialable way cheaper in the US.

Red Dead Redemption is AMAZING. 
The map is massive. The story and acting = Great. Stuck on a horse-racing mission right now. 20 missions done after 5 hours with the game.
