Red Dead doesn't come out 'til the 21st in Australia :,(
I've preordered though, along with the collectors edition of Fallout New Vegas.

It's comparing 2 different genres. Call of Juarez is more like a story and red redemption sounds more like Cowboy-GTA
Both Red Dead and Juarez are western cowboy-ey games, so its more like comparing Gears of War to Resistance. (no xbox vs playstation intended, just they were the only two similar games in 3rd and 1st person I could think of)
Also, Just Cuase 2 is the strangest game on the planet.
Oh dear! you're hurlting from the sky at an insane speed and it's too late to pull your parachute, what do you do?, surely you're dead! oh wait, of course, pull out your grapple and pull yourself to the ground even faster. That being said, it's still a fun game. Though I've kept my videogame cash reserved for Red Dead for months, so I'll pass on JC2
Everyone knows that Just Cause 2 is extremely unrealistic, but that's what makes it so fun. I mean, if it was real, there would be so much death, pushing it to an 18 
What? Do you mean your character would die a lot more?
In that case, Crash Bandicoot should have received an R18 rating, because anyone who has played that game will have died about a gazillion times.
Yes, I'm saying Rico would die a lot if it were realistic, and the deaths would be horrible and gory, and they'd be real deaths. In Crash Bandicoot, it was more of a cartoony death and the deaths didn't have blood and have humans dying. Those sort of deaths are typical platformer things, but this game is a 15 so they'd make a death seem pretty horrible.
Nobody really seems to care when Crash Bandicoot dies.

Red Dead Redemption looks like it's going to be a very interesting game from all the videos that have been put out by Rockstar about it. I'm probably going to be getting it next week, unless the ModNation Racers demo that's coming out on PSN on Tuesday wows me.
